While I’d love to share all the juicy details about how this business came to be – let’s save that for another day, shall we? 🙂 For now, I want to share why I’m so passionate about Pinterest and Blogging!
After being a professional in the wedding industry for over 18 years as a floral designer (which, how has it been that long already btw?), I have acquired some skills along the way that have been vital for helping grow businesses (including my own a few years ago). We all know that social media plays a huge part in so many people’s lives today, and it definitely has its place for helping with marketing and sharing your content. But…it can be exhausting, right? You can spend hours working on selecting the photo that was taken at just the right angle, trying to come up with a caption that isn’t too long or too short that is going to capture the eyes of your followers, researching which time of day is best to post and how often to post, and losing yourself in the comparison game of your fellow vendors. It can quickly turn into a whole thing that just isn’t fun, right?!
First, let’s talk about what Pinterest actually is. Most people think it falls into the social media category like Instagram and Facebook – but that’s not what it is. Pinterest is a visual search engine for finding ideas like recipes, home decor trends, and wedding inspiration. So it’s basically like Google for ideas! Why is this good news for your business? Because you can pin your own content for over 522 million users to see! Your work deserves to be SEEN, not disappear into the abyss of social media after a couple or days. You work so hard with your clients to bring their dream weddings to life, so why not utilize your content in a way that will do so much more for your business? When you pin your content correctly, not only will it increase your user engagement, it will drive traffic to your website….which means more new client inquiries…which means more bookings! I could totally nerd out on Pinterest with you right now, but I won’t. 🙂
If you’ve always thought, “I would love to have a blog, but I don’t have time for that” – hi, I see you. I’m here to help you. Not making the time to post blog content is not doing you any favors, friend. When you post fresh content to your site via blogging, you are automatically boosting your SEO! That means your website will slowly start to rank higher on Google, which is what we all want, right? Not only does it help your business and brand become more visible to your target audience, it helps you establish credibility with future clients and nurture relationships with past clients. Blogging is one of those tools in your business tool belt that you just don’t want to get rusty!
While I agree that using things like chatGPT and other AI services are helpful tools at times, they cannot and should not be used to fully run your systems. If you’re using AI for all the things, let’s be real – people can tell. Solely using AI takes away the opportunity to truly connect with your audience by using your brand voice, can be really stale, and way too generic – which hurts your SEO. Making a genuine human to human connection is where it’s at!
If you just fell in love with the idea of using Pinterest and Blogging to market your business and got totally overwhelmed at the same time – that’s where I come in! As a business owner, your job is to connect with clients, book out your calendar, perfect your craft, and a multitude of other things. Let me bring my years of experience in the wedding and event industry to the table and take some of the marketing pressure off your plate. While you’re running your business, I’ll take care of a pushing your content out on a regular basis, driving more traffic to your website, and growing your engagement in the background so that you can start to connect with more of your ideal clients.
Sounds pretty amazing, right? I’d love to help you become my next client success story. 😀
